BRITTANY HOWARD IS QUEEN

Last nights show was amazing! The Ryman did a great job of getting us all to our places, very friendly. The lighting and stage was wonderful. Such and intimate setting for an amazing voice!! Brittany's band was top notch. Her range and diversity is like no other, putting us all into love trance!! Her range and sound just beautiful.

AMAZING

This show was a great experience. That's the best way to describe it. Brittany doesn't so much sing, but emote music. Her voice is great and rich, but she doesn't merely sing, she tells the story with her voice as well as her words. Its beyond singing, she takes you further. Her music is innovative and soulful, and moves you to dance, and to feel and to think all at once. Her band is also outstanding. Her singers, drummer, guitarists, all players are best at their craft, and together they bring forth a truly awesome sound that makes you feel something. I was moved, comforted and overjoyed by this performance. I think this is what great music is, and this is a great band to experience live. I was so impressed and so happy to see it. Loved it all.

BRITTANY IS GREAT. SOUND IS ABOMINABLE.

It's too bad that Brittany's amazing voice was overwhelmed by truly terrible sound and the Roseland Theater. Her lyrics were completely unintelligible, and the sound system was nearing constant feedback. This was one of the worst concerts I've ever been to — but not because of the performers themselves. Brittany and her band deserve better. And also ... a much better opening act. She was also plagued with terrible sound, but her material could have been 1,000 times better.
